Visitors Flock to Hospital Dig

round stoneThese visitors seemed very interested in our archaeological activities. Maybe they’d heard about the latest find – a piece of gritstone, worked into a round shape. Suggestions for its original purpose welcomed – most popular so far is ‘a medieval placemat’!
